NEW WORLDS
The Mensa Bulletin for March 2022 cites an article from "The Astronomical Journal." The TESS satellite planet finder which searches a huge part of the sky has found a possible planet, labeled TOI-2180b.
More information is needed, but if it really is a planet, it would have the same diameter as Jupiter, but would be three times more massive.
That reminds me of that new Sci-Fi series "Night Watch," where an older couple discovers a portal to another planet while working in their basement and visit it 800 times, the last time going through the portal, climbing over granite blocks to come close to a city enclosed in what looks like an opened clam shell, from which one can hear church bells. (Tune in next week!)
This show is filled with puzzling flash-backs and flash-aheads which confuse logical thinkers. It also has stupid scenes, such as:
A lady chases a young man while firing at him with an AK-47, and then later can't pull the trigger of a gun pointed at his head.
BTW, the young man had recently climbed out of a hole and is looking for his father.
A mild mannered shop-keeper suddenly becomes a ruthless leader of a group that wants to take over the world.
If you like this this kind of disjointed illogical crap be my guest and let me know what you think. You know what I think.
Wait a minute.. maybe its just a reflection on our current world insanity.
