Robins; Groundhog; Happy Birthday; Iowa Caucus Time; Predictions; Friends of Donald Trump

Rainy.  Three million robins have descended on our two red berry trees and I'll bet all of that fruit will be gone by tomorrow morning.  I thought that robins went somewhere else in Winter and appeared back here on the first day of Spring. 

Wait a minute...  Punxatawney Phil is getting ready to be the weatherman for the rest of Winter.  I think, if he sees his shadow, we will have 8 more weeks of snow and ice.  I could be wrong on that.

Today is my birthday... I did not want to have any more... but what could I do?  Elaine's son in law, Mat, just called to wish me a happy birthday.  I'm ashamed to say that we missed his birthday.. but we will make up for that when we meet them here for supper in a couple of weeks. 

Elaine sang a Vaughan-style "Happy Birthday" this morning and Elizabeth called to wish me well.  I received birthday cards from some Carroll Lutheran Village friends,  Cathy Hiebler (SSAA), and also from Del Computers, Omaha Steaks, Ruby Tuesday, Joe's Crab House and Mensa.  So... I'm still alive in a few databases.
