Gun Violence; Einstein; Grover Cleveland; McDee in Moscow; Political Sickness; Olivia de Havilland

HOT!

Yes.. another set of gun violence inflicted upon us.  When will we learn to ban guns?  As noted before, the United States has the distinction of being NUMBER ONE IN GUN VIOLENCE.

My juices were also stirred yesterday when I finished episode 52 of Orange is the New Black.  I cried when that cute little cultured black lesbian, Poussey, was killed by that stupid moronic kid cop.  I had a hard time remembering that this is a NETFLIX creation.  Now, in the news, more moronic killing.  Stand by for more moronic mouthings by the Donald.  Let's see how he can get the latest killings geared to his advantage.  He can't blame Moslems or Mexicans... who is left?

Let me shift this blog entry to some weird stuff, although not quite as weird as the current reality.

Something to see in Philadelphia

I've learned that the Muetter Museum of Medical History in Philadelphia has some very gross stuff, including the jaw tumor of President Cleveland and (hold on to your hats)  Einstein's Brain!

I wonder if they are keeping it alive so that it can be plugged into Trump's skull.  He needs something.

Welcome to Mickey Dee, Gospodeen

I've heard that McDonald's is having trouble with their Moscow location.  The problem is that Russians do not smile.  Just give them a little vodka and they will cry and weep gloriously.  But they also supposedly do not smile on personal contact, like that takes place in a McDonald's shop.  So, the Russian employees are being given "smiling lessons" so they can be more friendly like Americans.

Sick of Politics?

The Week Magazine asked if readers who are sickened by political rhetoric could name that condition as it would be categorized by the AMA. If you haven't seen the results in the magazine, here are the top three wonderful suggestions:

Postpartisan Depression

Electile Dysfunction

Irritable Ballot Syndrome

Olivia the Great

The New York Times Book Review mentions that actress Olivia de Havilland is reaching her 100th birthday.  To honor her, her 1962 memoir, Every Frenchman Has One will be reissued.  She has lived in Paris since 1952 and says that she has learned the "Paris Principle" ..

1. Discretion.  2. Discretion.   3. Discretion.
