Hair
Elaine and I visited Kim for hair stuff. I got a haircut and Elaine got a permanent (lots of blond curls.) Now, we are presentable again.
Yesterday, at 2 am, while Elaine was watching a movie on TV, she heard something or somebody scratching on the side window of the front door. Next, she heard things falling on our side porch. Scared, she rousted me out of bed to go and confront whoever was trying to break in.
I turned on the porch light and was surprised to see Rocky Raccoon gobbling up handfuls of birdseed from a window feeder that I had just set up. When I banged on the window, he just ignored me and continued stuffing his face. So, I jiggled the front door loudly and that got his attention. He gave me a dirty look and then waddled nonchalantly off the porch and into the dark night. However, five minutes later, his two bright eyes and pointy nose were seen poking through the railing slats. Elaine thought this was very cute.
I have been putting old bread out to some clay pots on the porch at night and been finding it gone in the morning. Now I know who has been taking it. I had blamed the crows. Our next door neighbors have been wondering who dug up some of their flowers... so, it was probably Rocky. Rocky is the size of four of our SuZee cat. I'm glad that we don't let her out at night. Rocky would probably eat her up.
Baltimore's Favorite
It's about that time. Time for eating steamed crabs. The crop this year is not quite as big as the best year, but it's good enough to ensure that those who want to eat crabs, will be able to. Viva la Crabbe!

Bye for now... I need to catch up on that sleep that I lost when Rocky came to visit.
