Unidentified Flying Objects and Aliens
I've been interested in Ufology since I read an outline about the New Hampshire couple who claim to have been abducted by aliens. The outline was in a monthly magazine, I think might have been titled True Adventure.. or some such. The story sounded a little "fishy" to me, but it intrigued me just the same. My only UFO event took place when I was in the Air Force, in 1954.
For a while, I spent 8 hours a day in a government van which contained radio operation equipment and also direction finding paraphernalia. Besides sending and receiving radio messages in Morse Code, I would Zero Beat on sounds generated by high flying planes. Two other direction finding sites would Zero Beat as well, and the triangulation would give pilots a good indication of where they were, and hopefully it agreed with their cockpit calculations. My location Code Name was Barber Foxtrot, and I had access to the planes' emergency radio channels.
One bitterly cold night (we were on top of a mountain) I received a call on the emergency channel. A pilot was yelling "Barber Foxtrot, look outside, there are some kind of strange vessels right over your site. Do a visual sighting." I immediately jumped up and hurried outside. I looked up and around but didn't see anything.
When I went back in, I could overhear a few pilots all talking at once about unbelievably fast flying vehicles of some kind that were chasing them. It must have been frightening to some of them, because I could hear them swearing, and one of them was reciting the Rosary. After that bit of excitement, things suddenly went back to normal, and nothing was ever said about the incident, at least, not to me. .
MUFON
Through the years, I have followed UFO reports and read a bit about them. Especially, as I said, about abductions. A couple of years ago I joined MUFON, the group that investigates all UFO and abduction reports. To get more information about this group, go to:

One of MUFON's directors, John Ventre outlined some interesting UFO cases in the September 2016 issue of the MUFON Journal:
1936 A supposed UFO crashed in Germany's Black Forest. This caught the NAZIs' interest, and triggered action in developing rocket propulsion technology.
1965
Seven police officers and over 100 civilian witnesses in Michigan watched a UFO. Michigan Congressman Gerald Ford asked for and received a Congressional Hearing on UFOs.
Five police officers from seven counties in two states chased a UFO from Ohio, into Pennsylvania.
A UFO and Bigfoot type entity was encountered by five persons near Lake Erie, Pennsylvania.
1966 The first sighting of the UFO alien "Mothman" took place in Point Pleasant, West Virginia.
1976
Four men from Allagash, Maine, said they were abducted while camping. They claim that four-fingered aliens performed medical examinations on them.
An Iranian pilot tried to fire on a UFO over Tehran, but his control panel went dead.
1986
A red orb crashed into a hill in Ruissia.
A Japanese Airline pilot reported a mile long UFO over Alaska. .. it was seen by ground crew and radar, confirmed by the FAA.
1996 Brazilian teenagers threw stones at a "strange creature with red eyes, horns and lumpy spinal bumps on its head and back." This started the "Chupacabra" sightings in South and America and Puerto. Rico.
2006 A UFO hovered above O'Hare Airport and was seen by 12 airport employees. After a while "it shot straight up and punched a hole through the clouds."
